Reading Response Worksheet

The goal of this worksheet is simple: Get students “condensing” their ideas so they are precise with language (20-word summary). Get students “expanding” on their ideas so they can extract their deepest thoughts (golden line). Spelling Activities

Every so often I will give my students a “spelling challenge.” It’s random, but fun. The winning student(s) get candy. It is a great way to change things up a bit–and surprise students.
