Homophones Practice: Edit and Rewrite the Sentences!
Here is a quick editing activity I use with my students. First, I play the video and have students edit the sentences. Students can do this individually or in groups – it’s up to you. Second, I have students complete the additional worksheet. The goal is for students focus writing on writing conventions. I hope it helps! How to Write an Introduction to an Essay!
Writing an essay can be overwhelming. Some of my students, in fact, become paralyzed by the process. They struggle to get started. This is why I like to get students comfortable with writing introduction paragraphs. Writing a clear and well-structured introduction allows students to build momentum and confidence when it comes to essay writing.
