My Favorite VOCABULARY Activity!
This standards-based approach to vocabulary acquisition aligns with California’s expectations for students to determine word meanings using context clues. Additionally, students are required to reference a dictionary to enhance their understanding. Step 1: Word Hunter Many of my students struggle with reading and feel intimidated by ‘big words.’ My goal is to help them become self-directed learners when it comes to acquiring vocabulary.
