Respond to a Quote by a Scientist!

Can your students write 250 words or more in response to a quote?

The purpose of this task is for students to demonstrate a “mind at work.”

Students need space to “experiment” with ideas via writing.

And this means students must learn how to “stretch their thinking.”

I want students to write and struggle to find ideas. In fact, it is this struggle that often yields the best ideas.
