Your Mission: Write a short story about a “memory” that is completely made up, but sounds real. You are trying to trick the students of another class.
Choose Your “Memory” Idea
You may use one of these, or create your own. Aim for a story that seems unbelievable.
- The time you met and hung out with Lionel Messi.
- The day you sang a song with Taylor Swift.
- The day you got lost in Seoul, South Korea.
How to Write
- Include specific details (names, places, sounds, thoughts)
- Use natural, believable language
- Make the moment feel like it actually happened
The goal is not just to tell a story, but to make people believe it.
The Challenge
After writing, your story will be shared with students from another class.
They will not be told the stories are fake.
Let’s see if you can trick them with your “fake memory.”
